SPECIAL LEAGUE MATCH
FIGHT FOR SECOND HONOURS CITY TO MEET SHORE. WINNER TO PLAY PONIES. Second honours in the League code will he decided at Carlaw Park to-morrow afternoon,• when City and Devonport will meet in a special match. The winners of the struggle have then to play off with. Ponsonby, winners of the grade championship and the Roope Rooster knock-out competition, for the Stormont Shield., A keen game should be provided, as hoth sides are evenly matched when in form. City's play in recent games lias not been/attractive, but it is expected that they will rise to the occasion, and fully extend the seasiders. At present the two teams are level on the, points table. Several lower grade matches will also be played. ; Following are the teams:—■ CITY ROGERS. Seniors.—Watene, ■ Barcliard (2), Perry (2), Reynolds, Sliortland, Davidson, Wetlierill.
