Holland, again raised objection in v the House of Representatives to-day to the reduction of coal orders. He said the Minister of Railways had explained that it was necessary to work down existing supplies of inferior coal, but even if this were necessary there was the same danger of creating unemployment. Mr. J. O'Brien (Labour, Westland) urged that the Department should use nothing but New Zealand coal on the railways. The Minister, the Hon. W. A. Veitch: As far as is humanly possible we will.
