CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS.
SHOPPING ARRANGEMENTS.
Shopping hours for the Christinas and New Year weeks were fixed at a meeting 01 the Auckland Provincial Employers' Association Yesterday. On the two Mondays, December 22 and 29, hours ■sill be as usual., as on the two Tuesdays, December 23 and 30. On tire Wednesdays, December 24 and 31, there will be late nights and shops will be open until 10 p.m. In the New Year week the Thursdays, December 25 and January 1, and Fridays. December 24s and Jannarr 2, will be holidays, while on Saturday, December 27, and Saturday, January 3, -shops will close at 12.30 p.m.
