Andrew Clement and Sons, Ltd., are in receipt of the following cable from their London office, dated 18th inst.:— Markets steady. Butter, 127/ to 129/; cheese, 75/. Amalgamated Dairies, Ltd., report:— Our London office cables as follows, dated September 18:—Butter: All prices unchanged (Anchor, 132/; other finest, 130/). Market, steady but quiet. Danish, 143/. SYDNEY WOOL SALES. SYDNEY, September 18. At the Sydney wool sales to-day the offerings totalled 11,660 bales, 9555 being sold. Also 1906 bales lvere disposed of privately. The market was very firm for stylish quality wools, competition for which continued keen from "French, G.erman and Japanese buyers, and to a lesser extent from Yorkshire and American buyers.
