TAUMARUNUI CLUB.
The Taumarunui Rod aud Gun Club held a shoot during the 'week-end; In' the first sweepstake of sevpn birds Mr. G. Bretherton, of Obakune, secured the possible. In tlie second seven-bird sweepstake. Messrs. A. J. Richards, 15. Lightfoot and E. G. Ozaune all secured the possible, and in the Harris Cup competition.of 15 birds, Messrs. G. Bretherton and E. Lightfoot tied with 14 breaks. 'The six-pair double rise was won by Mr. E. G. Ozanne with eight birds. Following are the results:— First Shoot "(sweepstake, of 7 birds). —G. Brptlierton .(18yds), 7 birds. 1; W. Peck (18yds), E. Lightfoot (17yds), E. G. Oza'nne (17yds) and R. Harris (14yds), tied with "G birds for second place. . ;'■,?,,
