A COALITION?
German Parties May Unite Against Hitler. YOUNG PLAN RESENTED. (Received 1.30 p.m.) BERLIN, September 15. "The chief interest in' the'elections is now centred in negotiations of the political leaders with a view to establishing a coalition of all Moderates, including the Socialists, against the National Socialists and the Communists. The. task will be difficult. The Economic party does not, believe its financial programme will be acceptable to the Socialists, and consequently is prepared to - join n- coalition with the National Socialists, whose leaders declare that they will accept the task of forming a Government. The Hitler supporters' ideas of government, as set out on the eve of the poll, were to' the effect tliaft if returned they would Walter Germapy's foreign policy a»id discontinue the policy of perpetually'courting the .favour of France. Furthermore, they, would advocate another strong army and the repudiation 'of the tributes imposed under the Young Plan. Meanwhile, Dr. Bruening called on President Hindenburg. It is understood that 'he has obtained leave for the Government to carry on, presenting itself to the Reichstag on October 14.
