ROTORUA NOTES.
Mrs. Boucher .and Miss Gweri 'Boucher, Ohinemutu, who have been visiting Te Puke and Tauranga, are now'visiting Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. Dignan, of Auckland, are on a visit to Rotorua. Mrs. Wilkinson and family, of Seaview Road, Remuera, are on a fortnight's visit to Rotorua. Mrs. F. Wilson, of Auckland, is the; guest of her sister, Mrs. Hogan, Tutanekai Street. Mrs. Stewart ' and family, Clayton Road, have returned from Ohopi Beach. Mr. and Mrs. G. Barber and the Misses J. and M. Barber, have returned from a visit to Auckland. Mrs. Roulston, of Hastings, is staying at Eaa Ora while in Rotorua. Miss Jean Lawford, of Remuera, is on a visit to Rotorua. Mrs. E. Nicholson, of Marafetai, arid her sister, Miss G. Rowlings, of Auckland, who were visitors at Prince's Gate, have returned to ' Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. Menzies, Whakarewarewa,\ have returned from Ohopi Beach. Mrs. H. Anderson, of Napier, is a gtiest at Kia Ora. Mrs. Mathias, of Auckland, is 'on a- visit'"to Rotorua. ; A surprise party was, taken to the residence of Mrs.- J. F; - Thomas, - Amoliia Street, on Tuesday, when an enjoyable evening was spent ', with progressive bridge. The reception rooms were arranged with golden Iceland poppies and spring bulbs. Mrs. Thoqias wore black, satin beaut© and georgette. The first prize was won by Mrs. Davys, Mrs. Petre the second, and Mrs. Goudie the mystery prize. The guests present were: Mesdames ,Hogan, »F s: Wilsop (Auckland)F. <3. Bunyard, H. A. Goudie, S. Wallis, H. Hamilton, Petre, Booth, J. D. Davys, Roulston (Hastings), Misses Stanton and Gould.
