Mrs. B. F. Peacocke, Weston Lea, Hamilton, i§ the guest of Mrs, R. Bull, Napier. .Miss K. Hogg has returned to Hamilton after spending a holiday in Dunedin. Mrs. R.'MacLean has returned to Gisborne after spending several weeks in Hamilton. Miss M. McFarland, of Auckland, lias been staying in Hamilton with relatives. Mrs. Patterson, of Dunedin, is on a visit to relatives in Claudelands; Miss Andrews, of New Plymouth, has heen staying in' Hamilton. Miss M. Armstrong, after spending, a holiday in Cambridge, has gone, on to Wanganui. Miss G. Wyatt has returned to Hamilton from a visit to Tongariro. Miss E. Eggleston is on a visit to friends _in Katikatj. Miss P. Mandeno, of Dunedin, is on a visit to Te Awamutu. Mrs. R. English has returned to Hamilton from a visit to Rotorua. Mrs. R. G. Guy, after being away at Rotorua, has returned to Hamilton. Mrs. T. C. Fraser, of Hamilton, has' been away at Taupo. Miss M. Campbell has returned to Hamilton from a holiday spent in New Plymouth. Mrs. Ci. Hnggitt, of Palnicrston North, has been staying in Hamilton. The-annual dance of the staff of the Bank of New South Wales was held .in the Regent Hall on Thursday. The hostess, Mrs. R. G. A flag- bridge party was given at the Lyceum Club, Hamilton, on Thursday by Mrs. E. R. Gresliam, in honour of Mrs. W. Currie, of Nelson, and Miss'B. Cornish, of Wellington, who are on a visit to Hamilton. Tho lounge, where bridge was played, was decorated with flowering currant/ Iceland poppies and daffodils. Mrs. Gresham received hi coffee shaded lace and satin beaute. Mrs. Currie wore black georgette, handsome shawl; Miss Cornish, blue georgette. The prizes were won by: Mrs. H. Doyglas, Mrs. J.
