HAWEKA NEWSPAPER MAN.

CAPSIZE OF MOTOR CAR.

HAWERA, this day.

Resulting from the capsize of a motor car near Waverley yesterday morning, Mr. William S. Moore, a newspaper reporter, residing at Hawera, was taken to hospital at Patea and died this morning from a fracture of the skull He was proceeding with his father. Mr. W. H. Moore, to visit his home at Blenheim. 'Deceased was travelling by car to Wellington with Mr. Jack Jones, the wellknown boxer, when the vehicle overturned. Mr. Moore, sen., was also taken to hospital with injuries to bis head and back. Mr. Jones escaped injury.
