FALL OF JUTE PRICE.
BENGAL HEAVILY BIT. (Received 11.30 a.m.) DELHI, September 14. Bengal faces a serious financial position owing to the fall in price of jute, which, it is estimated, will mean a diminution to the extent of 40 crorcs of rupees (approximately £30,000,000). MARRIAGE ARRANGED. PRIME MINISTER'S DAUGHTER. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, September 14. A marriage has been arranged between Dr. Alistair MacKinnon, of Edinburgh, son of the late Dr. John MacKinnon, of South Africa and Skye, and Miss Joan Margaret Mac-Donald, second daughter of the Prime Minister. Dr. MacKinnon's mother lives in Edinburgh.
