C. L. INNES AND CO. DIVIDEND 8 PER CENT. The annual meeting of C. L. Innes and . Company,., Limited, brewers and cordial manufacturers, was held on Friday oven- ;• ing, Mr. A. A. Martin presiding. The annual report referred to the unsatisfae- : tory season experienced for the sale of cordials, owing the, wet summer, but ! stated j that the business done generally \ad been very satisfactory. The premises at Hamilton had been enlarged and new plant installed at a cost ' of £8000. A profit of £4481 had been > made, and of this 'amount £399 was allo- • cated to a 4 per cent dividend to ■, preference shareholders, making 8 per cent for the. year, and-, £1646 to a dividend of 8 per cent to ordinary shareholders.. The sum of £1750 was. placed to reserves and ' ;£685 was carried "forward. , Th« company's premises have been enlarged recently and new plant installed. The now building was opened on Friday by the chairman of directors.
