BIRTH CONTROL.
For "Calixta's" benefit I would suggest that before rushing' into print she makes herself thoroughly conversant with the teachings of the Catholic Church, and furthermore that when quoting from eminent authorities on r this subject she include the opinions of the : , great Catholic writers of all times. In the support of her eontcntioiio for the limitations, of families she would give one to understand., that the Catholic women's societies of the ■ U.S.A. favour birth control. This is contrary • to fact. Though the societies favour continence, they are absolutely opposed to the use of contraceptives. CATHOLIC. I
Would you kindlr allow me to point out that "Calixta" is only showing her ignorance of the codes of. the Catholic Church by her attitude in saying that Catholics have only to agree with the Church in her doctrines and not her discipline? Of course, as all instructed Catholics know, discipline is must essential. CHILD OF MARY.
