The Hon. J. B. Donald, PostmasterGeneral, and Messrs. A. Harris, W. J. Jordan and W. E. Parry, M.P. s, left for Wellington last evening.
Mr. Parkes WarmingtOn aryived by the Aorangi, and will speiid four or five months in the Dominion. He is staying at the Grand Hotel.
Professor J. Hoops and Mrs. Hoops arrived at Wellington by the Makura yesterday on a brief visit to Ivew Zealand. . Professor Hoops occupies the chair of English language and literature at Heidelberg University, Germany. After eleven days in New Zealand, he will go to Australia, and thence back to Germany.
