HELPING THE NEEDY.

CONCERT AT EPSOM.

To raise funds to assist the poor and needy of the Auckland district, a concert was held in the Epsom Methodist Hall, which proved hardly large enough to accommodate the audience. For two hours the patrons listened to music, eong, and etorv of a very high standard. Madame Grace Griffiths organised the entertainment and acted as accompanist. The following contributed items: Misses Hilary Manning, Queenie Silk, Doris Moore, Cecilia Pringle, Isobel Henricksen, Ngaire Te Weri, Mrs. H. Armstrong Keven, Messrs. H. W. Jessop, A. C. Gracie, and A. Lyon Griffiths.
