PRESENTATION.

The friends of Mr. H. C. B. Shera, of Kawhia, met at his residence recently to bid him farewell on the eve of his departure for Auckland. Mr. Shera has been manager of the Kawhia branch of the Bank of New Zealand for some years, and has retired owing to illbealth. In making him the presentation of a travelling rug, Mr. N. H. Beatson expressed the widespread hope for Mr. Shera's recovery, and assured him the good wishes of his many friends.
