THE NEW DUTIES, ENGLISH AND CANADIAN CAES COMPARISON WITH FOREIGN MAKES. . Now that the duty on Canadian car: uas been increased by 39 per cent, tin difference in the duty 011 a car of a home consumption value of £100 is £.'3B 14/10. A comparison of the dutie; on English, Canadian and foreign motoj cars of a home consumption value oi £100 follows, the duties being leviet on a value of £110 in each case: — English Cars.
The cars affected by the change In tariff include the folloVing: Chevrolet, Chrysler (some models), Dodge, Ford, Overland, Plymouth, Rugby, Studebaker Six, and Willys IvnTght (some models).
