MODEL AIRPLANES.

FLIGHTS AT ONE TREE HILL,

A model flight meeting was held at One Tree Hill on Saturday, about 22 models being used. Sortie fitte flights were put up by members, one of 30 seconds' duration by Mr. A. Edwards' model being the best. In a competition I. Chinnery-Brown, witji a covered-in. fuselage, double surfaced wing monoplane, built by himself, won, closely followed by Mr. Gothenby, with a sports model. The prize was a beautifully carved and polished true-pitch propeller, made and given by Mt. Burtley. The timekeeper "wo Mr* F. C. Macdonald, club captain.
