PIGEON FLYING.

AUCKLAND RACING SOCIETY. The above society flew its third race of the old bird season from Taumarunui in fine weather. The birds were dispatched on their 145-mile journey by the stationmaster at 10.30 a.m.. and after a good fly the winning bird arrived at Atr. Alexander's loft at 2.1S p.m. The balance of the birds were closely bunched. The results are:— Air. A.
