Two America'n-bred trotting stallions and an English draught stallion were the only "deck" passengers by the liner lonic which arrived from London this morning. All three horses, which are the property of Mr. G. Youngson, of Riversdale, Southland, stood tha long tea voyage well, and actually improved in condition.

The trotters arc Wellington Direct a'nd Frank Dewey, whose American records are 2.4J and 2.1 1-5 respectively. The draught stallion is Beauty Heir by Craigie McQuoid out of CraHe Beautv. °
