WORK AT NEW PLYMOUTH.

XEW PLYMOUTH, this day.

All the fast -work on the }few Plymouth track this morning took place on the outside of the course proper, -which "was in good order.

Spanish King did good half-paco work. Gibraltar was trotted and cantered, while Green Patch was too good for Rapai over two furlongs. Nimblefoot beat Waitaunaha over a mile and a quarter, with Just John eome lengths away, in 2.31.

Lady Qucx was not fully extended to run a couple of furlongs in 27.*. Belle Star did solid work on the inner.

Orapai beat Te Atiawa over half a mile in 5Gs. The latter stopped badly in the straight. Lady Lulu and Easter Time took 274s for two furlongs. Melissa, beat Mies Chatter over half a mile in SSJs, a good gallop. Moerangi went well over a round of the fences, jumping fast and well. Tangiroa did three-quarter-pace work. Annoyer and Crenna Town were responsible for a good effort over five fences, finishing together in 1.5, Ngawhia and Silverline schooled nicely over six fences.

Royal finance led Screed all tie wav over half, a mile in 53Js, Huirangi Girl, after giving Ladv June some lengths at the start, was on terms at the finish of a mile and a quarter, the time being 2.33.

Razor was schooled over five fences. Potency beat Side Shot over a mile in 2.1. Puawhato was too good for Bay Dighton over a similar distance in 2.2."
