MR. THOMSON'S NINTH TRII\

The party which left for the Imperial Conference consists of the Hon. G, W. Forbes and Mrs. Forbes, Sir Thomas and Lady Sidey, Mr. C. A. Jefferv, private secretary to the l>rime Minister; Mr. F. D. Thomson, C.M.G., permanent head of the Prime illnister*s department; Mr. C. A. Berendsen, secretary of the Department of External Affairs, and Mrs. Berendsen; and Dr. C. Craig, Comptroller of Customs. It is Mr. Thomson's ninth trip to London on official business.

Dr. E. Marsden, head of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, who is abroad at present, will join the party in London.
