RUGBY, July 25.

The Royal garden party, which is generally regarded as marking the ilose of the London social season, was held in the grounds of Buckingham Palace yesterday, when 6000 guests attended.

The weather has never yet caused a postponement of this popular social function, and yesterday, although the skies were overcast, there was no rain.
