POINT CHEVALIER RUN.

FIRST CARS TO-MORROW,

Tie Point Chevalier tram extension Trill be opened to-morrow morning, when the first tram will leave Customs Street West at 7 a.m., returning from Point Chevalier at 8 a.m. The feeder buses will he discontinued.

A o-ood service lias been arranged, trams running at 16-minute intervals during the slack times, and at S-miniite intervals during the busier periods, and at 4-minute intervals during the peak times. It will take 30 minutes to cover the distance. The new route is 5.77 miles in length, and is the second longest route in Auckland. Oueliunga is the longest, the distance being 7.55 miles. There Ayill be five sections on tlie whole route.
