The parents of the children attending the Waimauku School are very concerned at the delay in providing increased accommodation at'the school ConUnua applications have been made to theAuck land Education Board and 'the Department for an extra room. With the consent of the Education Board, the shelter shed is being used as a temporary room but this is far from satisfactory. Ihe iron roof which forms the ceiling drops moisture, and at every move of the children clouds of dust rise from the 00 considered that the unusual amount of sickness prevailing amongst the children at present « directly due to the conditions under which they are being taught. *•«**« The question was considered at. a meeting of the school committe, ancLit was decided to bring it before the Education Board arid the member for the district, the Eiglit Hon. J. G. Coates.
