DAIRYING AT TAIHAPE.

COMPANY'S ANNUAL MEETING AUDITOR'S FEE REDUCED. (From Our Own Correspondent.) TAIHAPE, Monday. The annual meeting of tho Taihape Co-operative Dairy Co., Ltd., took place 011 Saturday, a large number of suppliers being present, including many ladies. The report of the chairman of directors, Mr. D. Stent, disclosed a satisfactory year, and explained away the use of 'the bank overdraft by reason of heavy stocks being carried to supply the local market and a heavier advance to suppliers' account. The factory output increased by seven tons. It was recommended to pay a bonus of per lb butterfat and a dividend of 5 per cent on paid-up capital and transfer £100 to reserve.

> Reference was made to tho success of the herd testing scheme, also the increasing use of fertilisers under the company's easy payment plan. The usual criticism of the balancesheet was made by the suppliers present, and a motion was eventually carried deciding to deduct £5 from the fees payable to the auditor. Directors for tho coming year are as follow:—Messrs. D. Stent, A. Morris, G. D. Goodrich, G. R. Terry, E. W. Spooner, J. Wright aud C. E. S. Smith
