TRANSPORT AFFAIRS.
TENDERS FOR EXCAVATION. Eight tenders for the excavation of the proposed Richmond Road tram extension were received by the Auckland Transport Board this morning. That of H. Bray and Company for £2163 18/7 was accepted. It was decided on a show of hands that members of the board's staff should be insured with the Government Life Insurance Department.
