FIRE AT HERNE BAY.
RESIDENCE BADLY DAMAGED,
The back portion of a house at 7, Wharf Road, Heme Bay, owned and occupied by Mrs. L. G. Hendry, was extensively damaged by fire about 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon. ' There was no one in the liouse at the time. The house is insured for £550 with the Liverpool and London and Globe Insurance Co., and the furniture for £150 with the Ocean Accident and Guarantee Corporation, Ltd.
