After hearing Dr. "Watt, AssistantDirector of Helath. the Whangarei Hospital Beard maintains that its hospital should not lose the privilege of turning out fully-trained midwifery nurses. At yesterday's meeting the board decided. bv seven votes to three, that the Registration Board be requested to takp no steps which will prevent the complete training of nurses to the maternity and midwifery standard at the Whangarei annex.
