Eighteen players have been ordered to assemble for the third Test match ac Auckland. A final selection of the New Zealand team will be made on July 25. The eighteen to assemble are: — luill-back.—G. Strang (South Canterbury). 1 lalf-back. —il. Corner (Auckland). Forwards. —C. 0. Porter (Wellington), A. J. C'ottrell (Canterbury), J. Hon: (Otago), <J. Fiulayson (North Auckland\, J;? C. Steere (flawke's Bay), A. McWilliams (Auckland), W. Batty (Auckland), !i. F. Mckean (Wellington), E. T. Stewart (Canterbury), W. Hazlett (Southland). This selection includes one back (A. Strang), and two forwards (Batty and IMcLeau), who were not in the secord Test team. All those who playqjl in the second Test are included. Finlaysou ih, at present being treated in the Auckland Hospital lor an abscess on the right hand, which had become septic, and there is some doubt about his being right to play on Saturday week.
