HOSPITAL AUXILIARY.

REPORT OF MONTH'S WORK. Work clone by the Auckland Hospital Auxiliary was detailed at the monthly meeting of the council, held this week. Mrs. Alfred Kidd presided, and there were present seventeen members of the council. Patients in the hospital have been taken for drives and distributions of jam, fruit, clothing and other commodities have been made by the different committees. It was reported that the sewing committee had been responsible for ](I 3 'garments during June, which speaks volumes for the work done in that direction. A parcel from the Gladstone Girl Guides was also sent in through the committee. A stall at the Winter Show has been taken by the ways and means committee. Duriaig June 459 garments were given to 86 families, and 47 families were helped with food. Parcels were received from Te Atatu, New Lynn and Glen Eden Institutes.
