Soviet Explanation of Killing Japanese Fishermen. ALLEGED POACHING. TOKYO, July 11. J The official protests to the Soviet regarding the capture of Japanese vessels at Kamchatka, and the wounding and killing of fishermen have brought an unsatisfactory reply from Moscow. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Baron Shidehara, has warned the Soviet Ambassador, M. Alexandre Trojanoffski, that Japan is taking measures to protect her interests. He refuted the Soviet allegations of poaching by Japanese, and requested that attention be paid to the Japanese protests.
