ROTORUA IN PORT. TOFTJA SAILED. Three overseas ships have arrived at Auckland in the past 24 hours. The Canadian Challenger, from Montreal, got in last night, and she was fallowed to-day by the Hauraki from Los Angeles and the passenger liner Botorua from London and Southampton. According to her wireless report, the tanker Crenatula will arrive from Borneo tonight, while the Kalingo from Newcastle and the Tamaroa from South for Homeward loading are due to-morrow. HIKURANGI SAILED. The steamer Hikurangi was dispatched from Auckland for Norfolk Island yesterday afternoon, and is due back about July -uThis her first trip In the new service. WARNING TO MARINERS. The Superintendent of Mercantile Marine warns mariners that Tuahine Point light is out. It will be relighted as soon as possible. TOFUA SAILED. For Fiji, Tonga, and Samoa the Union Company's passenger steamer Tofua was dispatched from Auckland early this afternoon. THE CANADIAN CONQUEROR. The Canadian Njttional steamer Canadian Conqueror, which left Auckland on June 3 for New York, Boston and Montreal, is reported to have arrived at New York last Thursday. CRENATULA TO-NIGHT. A radio from the Shell Oil Company's tanker Crenatula states that she expects t<> arrive at Auckland from Balikpapan at 8 p.m. to-day. She will discharge bulk motor spirit at the Western wharf. HAURAKI ARRIVED. Arriving from Los Angeles this afternoon, the Union Company's motor ship Hauraki herthed at the King's Wharf to discharge the local portion of the cargo. From here she goes to Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney to put ant the remainder. ROTORUA IN PORT. With passengers, mails and cargo from London and Southampton, the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Rotorua arrived at Auckland at mid-day to-day and berthed at the Prince's Wharf. She left London on June 4 and Southampton two days later, and passed through the Panama Canal on June 21. After landing passengers, mails and part cargo here, she is to go to Wellington to complete discharge. CANADIAN CHALLENGER DISCHARGING. With general cargo from Montreal and Sydney (C.8.) the Canadian National steamer Canadian Challenger arrived at Auckland last night and berthed this morning at the Prince's Wharf. Except during last week, when she was delayed by south-easterly gales, the Canadian Challenger had good weather. She is to sail again on Monday evening for Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin to complete discharge. MAUNGANUI AND MARAMA. Cabled advice from Sydney confirms the' "departure from there yesterday afternoon of the Union Company's passenger steamers Maunganui and Marama for Auckland and Wellington respectively. The Maunganui is due at Auckland next Tuesday morning, and will berth at the Queen's wharf. According to her amended itinerary she leaves Auckland on Wednesday for Sydney, via Wellington, clearing the latter port on Friday. After discharge at Wellington, the Marama is to withdraw from the service. AMERICAN AND AUSTRALIAN LINE. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises the following amended and additional projected sailings from New York : — Armadale, to sail on July 15 for Suva, Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin and Sydney. City of Mandalay, to sail on July 30 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. Ashburton, to sail on September 14 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. City Dundee, to sail on September 28 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. Ptpiriki. to sail on August 15 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Sydney. The Waimea left Gisborne at 11.30 a.m. yesterday and arrived at Napier at 2.30 am to-day. She is expected to clear for Auckland at 2.30 p.m . The Kaimanawa is due at midnight on Sunday from Westport via New Plymouth nnd will berth at the Central -harf.
