Otago's
Prospects and Players iDiseussed. .H •C-By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.)' BUNEDIN, Friday. Otago shaped very disappointingly against the "British team, but the general opinion, locally, is .that a stronger team will he placed in the field against ■the several inter-provincial sides that ■will visit Dunedin this season. It should be possible to field a smart set of baclts, .and the presence of Fookes, -fche 'Varsity nve-eighth, -ehould add to the thrust of the rearguard. The half-back is almost sure to be Francis, who shaped exceedingly well against Britain. The forwards should be a fairly even lot, -though, -unless one or two good country men can be found, they will probably lack the weight of former years.
