GERMAN DISASTER. 95 Dead and Dying Recovered From Mine. HEARTRENDING SCENES. (United P.A.—Electric Telegraph—Copyright) BEKLIN, July 10. Of the 200 men who Avere buried by a mine explosion at Hausdorf, 47 more bodies were brought to the surface and 48 men were saved who are suffering from poisoning and have been sent to hospital. Seventy-three victims are still underground and there is little hope of saving them. . , After the explosion clouds of poisonous coal dust sAvept through the passages in the mine and scores of men were caught by the choking fumes and collapsed and died on the spot. Hundreds of weeping women and children crowded round the pit-head, at which heartrending scenes were witnessed.
