RACING DISQUALIFICATIONS.

TWO APPLICATIONS REFUSED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELINGTON, this day. Dr. C. C. Murphy, of Auckland, applied to the New Zealand Racing Conference this morning for the removal of his disqualification in connection with the horse Cherry Ripe. He stated that lie had suffered physically and financially as the result of the disqualification, and intended to take a trip abroad. He forwarded a letter from another medical practitioner showing that he was in very bad health. The application was refused. The application of W. J. Burnett for the removal of the balance of his disqualification in connection with, the Dress Circle case was also refused.
