FASTEST LIFEBOAT.

World's Largest Craft Launched By Prince. SEA AND AIR CASUALTIES. (British Official Wireless.) (Received 12 noon.) RUGBY, July 10. The Prince of Wales at Dover christened the world's largest and fastest motor lifeboat, naming' the vessel Sir William Hilary, after the founder of the Lifeboat Institution. During his life Sir William Hilary -was, concerned in. saving 300 lives. The president and secretary of the French Lifeboat Society attended the function. The Prince, in his speech, said that the boat would be stationed at England's gateway to the Continent and would guard against casualties in steamship and aeroplane traffic. Speed was essential in responding to calls for help from aircraft which came down in the Channel, and in designing the new boat these special requirements had been borne in mind.
