EXTENDED DAYLIGHT SAVING.
I do not think it is fair on a large section of the people of New Zealand to have daylight saving put back to August. It would bring hardship on the outside workers and others as well. • The outside workers have to face tihe cold, wet weather in the early hours of the morning and would probably lose time at their work. One person, when suggesting putting the clock back in August said he thought that opposition to daylight saving had nearly passed away. I know dozen of people who object to the measure, only they will not come forward and protest. STANDARD TIME.
