AUCKLAND CONFERENCE. GRADING COMPETITION HELD. i ______ There was a conference yesterday of the members of the Auckland provincial branch of the N.Z. Dairy Factory Managers' Association. It was held in conjunction with the Auckland Winter Exhibition. Grading competitions were held, the results of which are: — Butter. — Managers: W. L. Hollis (Hiiiuera), L. S. Barrell (Hokinga) and G. Burns (Victoria Eoad, Cambridge), 101 points, equal, 1; C. S. Foster (Ngatea), 100 i, 2; T. Walker (Waharoa), 100, 3. Assistants: J. Eea (Waiukuj", 100, 1; W. B. Young (Kaitieke), 99£, 2; G. D. Knight (East Tamaki), 99, 3. Cheese. —Managers: A. Baird (East Tamaki), 100, 1; L. S. Barrell (Hokianga), 99* points, 2; F. V. Stewart.(Raglan) and N. Madsen (Sunny Park), 98£, equal, 3. Assistants: C. Owen (East Tamaki), and J. Eea (Waiuku), 100 i, equal, 1; D. G. Knight (East Tamaki), 99_r a 2; A. Ketels (East Tamaki), 98*, 3. ' Mr. P. C. H. Petersen, Dominion president of the association, gave a report of the annual meeting of the New Zealand Association held at Palmerst'on North in June. At that conference he and Mr. A. M. Stirling had been elected to represent Auckland on the executive. Following the new constitution adopted at Palmerston North, the Auckland provincial executive was elected as follows:—Messrs. A. J. Garry (Naruawahia), J. D. Brown (Frankton Junction), A. H. Meharry (Motumaohq), L. L. Cubis (Morrinsville), T. Walker (Waharoa), G. J. Arnold (Moerewa) and W. L. Hollis (Hinuera).
