SEDDON'S MINISTRY.
ONX-Y ONE SURVIVOR.. SIR WILLIAM HALL-JONES. (By Telegraph.— Paxßamriitary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, tliis day. The death of Sir -Joseph Ward leaves only one survivor of the Soddon /Ministry which"existed ho long tlifit it turned, the. designation'of the Continuous Ministry. The survivor is Sir William Hall-Jones, formerly M.P. for Timaru, and now a Legislative Councillor, who lives in Wellington and is still active and keenly interested in affairs. Sir William was also a member of the first Ward Cabinet, constituted after the death of Mr. Seddon. The only other survivor of that original Cabinet is Sir George Fdwlds, of Auckland. During a recent visit to Rotorua Sir William reminded his old chief of the fact that they were the only Seddonian Ministers living", and suggested that they should take special care of themselves. Sir Joseph replied, as he frequently did Ito friends who raised this topic, that he muck preferred up bo in. harness.
