Mr. Mosley, S.M., to-day sentenced Miriam Ada Goodrick, aged 29, a domestie servant, to one year's reformative treatment for attempting to extract £250 from her former employer, a man 87 years of age, by means of a, threatening letter. The police said the womaff- alleged she had been indecently .assaulted, and she demanded money. The man immediately informed the police, "and the woman was trapped. Tho magistrate said the woman was an absolute danger to the community.
