EDUCATION BOARD ELECTION.
Mr John Patterson, of Pukekohe, who represented the west ward on the AuckS Education Board from 1922 to 1928, when Ire was defeated by Mr. J. Pnmro*e of Hamilton, by five votes, has been nominated by the Taumarunui School Committee to contest the wess ward election on July 16. Mr. J. Boddie, of Te Kurtz, is the. sitting member who retires.
