WHANGAREI, Tuesday.
A fine, of £5 was inflicted to-day upon Nick Wikaira, who aided and abetted another in the supply of liquor to a native in a proclaimed area by receivm a bottle of beer and a bottle of stout. Accused, a half-caste bushman, of _Te TTana admitted the offence in a written statement'ih which he said the beverage was bought at his request by a white man whom he. did not know, although be had'keen drinking wit hhim during the day.
