Lock, and Cusworth. Mr. Darrocli, a .much esteemed member of the club, celebrated his golden wedding on Saturday last, and the members of the club conveyed to him their hearty congratulations, and wished Mrs. Darrocli and himself continued health and happiness for the future. Occasion was also taken to bid farewell to Mr. S. Kennedy, who leaves next week on a visit to the Homeland. Mr. Kennedy has been a faithful supporter of the club for some years, and the best wishes of the members go with him for a happy voyage and a safe return. MOUNT ALBERT GREEN # •The Mount Albert Club's competitions finished on Saturday. 11. Dawson has already' been reported as the club champion, while S. Williams is the junior champion. The handicap singles was won by R. Mercer, and the club pairs fell to W. Thomas and J. Tomliuson. The percentage fours were carried off by S. Hall, R. de Castro, J. Stevfart and J. Baildon. The club has recently sustained a severe loss by the death of A. L. Grix at the early age of 45. He was a great favourite anil ever charitable in words and deeds.
