WORKMAN INJURED BY FALL
. STRUCK HEAD ON BARREL. As a result of a fall of 16ft to a concrete floor on Thursday afternoon concussion and severe head injuries were received by Mr. Walter O'Connor, a workman employed by A. and T. Burt, Ltd., at the Penrose factory of Messrs. Booth, Macdonald. He wa§ engaged in repair work in the foundry wheh he fell, and strtick his head on a barrel* The St. John Ambulance took him in an unconscious condition to the" Auckland Hospital. His Condition was reported this morning to be serious. Mr. O'Connor is a married man, aged 29, and lives at IS, Allen Road, Grey Lynn.
