AUCKLAND CHAMPIONSHIPS. FIRST DAY'S RESULTS. The annual championship tournament of the Auckland Croquet Association commenced yesterday, doubles matches 'being-played at\the Remuera and Mount Hobeon greens and junior handicap doubles at the Carlton green. The lawns ■were in excellent condition. Following are the results:— SUCTION A.
