DEBENTURE ISSUE.
JOHN FULLER AND SONS, LTD. The .debenture issue of £300,000 at 6% per cent' opened in New Zealand last February by John Fuller and Sons, Ltd., was, over-subscribed by December; Sir Benjamin Fuller, a director, of the company, made this announcement on Saturday to a representative of "The Press/' '.. He stated that he was very: gratified at the result of the issue, and it demonstrated that although money is not. as free as it was.six months ago, there was.still capital available, for.. investment in sound proi jects. " . ,' ,' "We are; going to' Use the money on other properties both for theatrical and. commercial purposes," he added. "We have an extensive programme outlined but no official general announcement will be made yet. One definite decision is the erection of a block of shops and offices on the- vacant section alongside His Majesty's Thfeatre; Courtenay Place, Wellington/and this will include the building, also," of additional foyers arid retiring rooms ftnvthe theatre itself. The work will be commenced early in this year." ■
