BEACH CONTROLS. QUESTION OF REINSTATEMENT. ."(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) GREYMOUTH, Tuesday. At the conference of the Royal,, LifeSaving Society this evening it was decided that future championships be held only on beaches where there are active surf clubs. ~'.... The 'conference also adopted a remit that swimmers who have lost their amateur status through acting as paid beach control men be recommended to the New Zealand Council for reinstatement after a lapse of three months. A sub-committte was reappointed to redraft rules for the Nelson- Shield contest.
