NORTHERN CLUB.

The Northern Club flew a race from Paekakariki, an airline distance of 285 miles. The birds were liberated by the stationmaster at 7.30 a.m., and the first bird arrived at Mr. Bedford's loft at 3.4 p.m., winning club and section prizes, and also a handsome cup donated by Mr. W. Kirby. Results: — Eastern Section.
