FROM VIENNA.

New Zealand Musician Returns From Piano Study. HOME OF MUSIC. (Received 10.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. Miss Imelda Fama, of Wellington, New Zealand, who returned by the Maloja, gave her impressions of music in Vienna. She has completed five years' study of the piano under Professor Wuhrer and she is now returning to New Zealand by the Maunganui. She said: "I consider Vienna the best place in the world for the study of the piano. Fees are not excessive and the cost of living is small." She was greatly impressed by the Philharmonic Orchestra in Vienna. The people there patronised operatic orchestral institutions in a way that put the people of our countries to shame. Some of the poorer people would rather go without a meal than miss a concert. Miss Fama gave an independent recital before leaving Vienna and it was well received.
