THANKSGIVING SERVICE.

FOR KING'S RECOVERY. INDEFINITE POSTPONEMENT. Archbishop Averill had arranged for services to be held throughout the Auckland diocese to synchronise with the service being held at Home to give thanks for the recovery of His Majesty the King. Owing, however, to the unfortunate relapse His Majesty suffered after reaching, Windsor from Bognor, the service had to be postponed. No date has yet been fixed for it, but as soon as information reaches Auckland the Archbishop will cause the information to be circulated throughout the diocese.
